In these "Look Good...Feel Better" sessions, trained cosmetologists and aestheticians teach women who are undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation how to cope with skin changes and hair loss by using cosmetics and skin care products donated by manufacturers. The free cosmetic kits provided at these group sessions are available in light, medium, dark and extra dark shades to enhance all complexion types.
It is a wonderful, heartwarming evening. Both our staff and the cancer survivors enrolled in the session are totally uplifted when they leave. If you have any questions about the "Look Good...Feel Better" sessions, feel free to call the salon to speak with Pat. |

K.M . Hair Works and Spa is proud to work with a local hospital to help cancer patients look and feel their best, despite the rigors of their treatments. Stylist Pat Kuster facilitates the "Look Good...Feel Better" program through the American Cancer Society. Shannon Dalton, staff aesthetician, and Leah Wise, another one of our stylists as well as an aesthetician, assist Pat.
Women can also learn ways to disguise hair loss with wigs that are provided free from the American Cancer Society, along with scarves and other accessories.
